Training for provers and master meters
Improve metrology knowledge and associated skills
- In-depth training on metrology expertise
- Theoretical and hands-on training
- From web-based seminars to extensive on-site workshops
Operational staff who work on metering systems must be made aware of the way all the different components are interdependent, and combine to make a single verified unit, with all changes traceable and recorded. The objective is to provide a reliable bill of lading, or transfer of the fluid, between the parties involved, reported to the highest accuracy. The basic training starts with web-based sessions to explain the principles of metrology, and to introduce meter verification and the role and parts of prover systems and the linked software used in flow computers.
KROHNE then offers more advanced training to introduce meter verification and the role and parts of prover systems, using a combination of theoretical class-room training and hands-on training on actual meters and systems, tailored to cover the individual plant installation: these training courses can be arranged at both KROHNE facilities and on the actual plant itself. Advanced courses cover the more complex aspects of metrology, the associated verifications and calculations, and the requirements of the legislative authorities.
