The POWERFLEX 2200 is a 2-wire 4…20 mA guided radar level transmitter based on the Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) technology. The device is designed to operate in safety-related and non-safety-related liquid applications of the nuclear power industry. It has been qualified according to IEEE 323, IEEE 344 and RCC-E and conforms to nuclear standards such as ASME Section III or RCC-M.
For high radiation levels, the converter can be installed up to 400 m / 1312 ft away from the probe (POWERFLEX 2200 D). High resistance to radiation, seismic and thermal qualifications as well as an extensive set of designs and options, have referenced the POWERFLEX for nuclear applications such as liquid level measurement in spent fuel pools and pressurized tanks.
