Start-up & commissioning for metering systems
On-site support by dedicated KROHNE engineers
- Onsite commissioning services for on- and offshore metering systems
- Consultancy during the implementation of systems using KROHNE and non-KROHNE products
- Assurance of smooth and continuous operations in the field
- Site acceptance testing (SAT) to verify the system is working according to requirements
The diagnostic capabilities of instrumentation and metering systems have significantly increased in recent years. Although KROHNE metering systems are designed to operate from the moment they are powered up, and settings can be altered through intuitive interfaces, it is not unusual to have a service engineer on site during start-up and commissioning. This engineer can combine start-up and commissioning with potential troubleshooting as well as service and operator training.
Our dedicated systems engineers have followed additional training programs for the integration of third-party instruments such as analysers, gas chromatographs, sampling systems, valves and PLCs. This allows a single engineer to conduct first and second tier on-site service on full metering systems. Where expert service is required on a non-KROHNE product, we will liaise directly with the manufacturer enabling all services to be conducted under our co-ordination and responsibility.
