SMARTMAC 400
Control and calibration unit for digital SMARTPAT sensors
- 2-wire concept, ideal for applications with limited power supply
- HART®7 communication for simultaneous signal output of up to 4 measured values; plus 2 configurable relays
- Second current output, especially useful for non-HART® systems, e.g. for temperature or any other measured value
- Flexibility in monitoring: various configurable measuring pages incl. trend graph and summary page
SMARTMAC 400 – Aluminium version
The SMARTMAC 400 is a control and calibration unit for SMARTPAT analytical sensors. It offers the most comfortable way to configure and calibrate KROHNE’s digital SMARTPAT sensors for pH, ORP and conductivity on-site. Different customer specific measurement pages for up to 4 different measurands with additional trend graph and summary page provide multiple visualisation options and a high degree of flexibility in process monitoring.
For improved process control, the loop powered unit comes with two freely programmable relays for status, system alarm, limit switch and sensor cleaning control. A second current output for any HART® variable (e.g. temperature) is an added value especially in applications where HART® digital communication is not available.
Thanks to the status indication of the SMARTPAT sensors and the additional time-based maintenance signalling LED, the SMARTMAC 400 enables detailed process monitoring. A sensor exchange function can be used to copy all sensor settings to another sensor, allowing convenient handling and reduced time for sensor exchange. The SMARTMAC 400 is available with plastic or aluminium housing. It is certified for use in hazardous areas.
