KROHNE Group – Complete News
In-depth analysis of KROHNE portfolio concerning Log4j vulnerability
As the Log4j vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228) presents a significant security issue, KROHNE has started an extensive check of all process instruments with built-in software as well as product-related and stand-alone software products.
Up to this point, we can confirm that all flow, level, pressure, temperature and process analytics instruments are not affected by the Log4j security issue, as none of them makes use of Java.
The software parts of the products EcoMATE, CARGOMASTER, PipePatrol and SynEnergy either do not use Java or at least not the Log4j framework.
This page will be updated as soon as more information becomes available.
